Attendance was up at FileMaker DevCon 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Alchemy Group President Bob Shockey wrapped up all three afternoons with a design panel on Tuesday, sharing the stage with Heather Winkle, Matt O’Dell, Don Levan, and Andrew Paulsen; a session on Typography in FileMaker on Wednesday; and a session on Real World Theme and Style Planning on Thursday, winning some spontaneous applause with the new, free tool “StylO.”
FileMaker DevCon featured a strong emphasis on design this year, with a very strong design track featuring speakers from within FileMaker as well as prominent consulting firms. FileMaker, Inc.’s staff and crew did a great job, as usual, making sure things ran smoothly. All in all, an informative and fun event!

I was able to attend your “Real World Theme and Style Planning” and have to say it was awesome. Your clearly dove deep into Themes & Styles and came up with lots of really useful…and yes…”Real World” advice.
